A quarter of a century ago, for the first time in Russia, the system of education accreditation emerged. Getting adjusted to a new reality in the period of perestroika, the system of education was in dire need of technologies and assessment tools for education quality in order to be aligned with international trends.
On March 20, 2020 the National Centre for Public Accreditation (Russia) reconfirmed full membership in the European Quality Assurance Register, EQAR. Following the results of the international review, Russia became one of the countries having an internationally recognized system of independent evaluation of higher education quality.
On November 11-14, 2019 an international external review of two study programmes "English Language" and "Russian Language" was held at Heilongjiang University. The procedure was jointly conducted with the Higher Education Evaluation Centre of the Ministry of Education, HEEC (China). Each review panel consisted of six Chinese and two Russian experts, representatives of leading Russian universities (Moscow City University, People’s Friendship University of Russia, Moscow State Linguistic University, Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod).
On October 23-25, 2019 an external review of the educational programmes «Chemistry» (04.03.01, 04.04.01), «General and Applied Chemistry» (04.05.01) delivered by National Research Tomsk State University was held.
