On March 20, 2020 the National Centre for Public Accreditation (Russia) reconfirmed full membership in the European Quality Assurance Register, EQAR. Following the results of the international review, Russia became one of the countries having an internationally recognized system of independent evaluation of higher education quality.

For the first time NCPA was officially registered in EQAR in 2014. Nowadays it is the only accreditation agency in Russia having the right to enter the information on the educational programmes into the Database of External Quality Assurance Results (DEQAR). Any higher education institution in the country-participant of the Bologna process can be accredited by an agency registered in EQAR, so it will be internationally recognized.
