Saint Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON) underwent an international professional and public accreditation review from October 26 to 28, 2026.

The external review panel comprised leading Russian and international experts, alongside employers and student representatives. Over the three-day visit, the panel conducted a series of working meetings with the university administration and academic department heads. The experts also interviewed faculty members, students, alumni, and employers involved in two major fields of study: Management and Finance and Credit.

Following the site visit, the evaluation panel will draft a comprehensive report and outline strategic recommendations for further program development. The final decision regarding the international professional and public accreditation status will be made at the upcoming meeting of the National Accreditation Board.
