On January 17-18, 2014 the project Tempus IV “Achieving and checking the alignment between academic programmes and qualification framework” was launched. The first meeting was held on the basis of Yerevan State Linguistic University.

The project will involve three partner countries. Each country will be represented by the Ministry for Education, an accreditation agency, three HEIs, a student union and an association of employers. Universities of Great Britain, Germany and Poland and the Central and European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education will also take part in the work of the project.

During the first day each of 26 partners involved into the project made a brief presentation about the organization. The participants also outlined their role and involvement for 36 months. The structure of project management was determined and coordinators from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine as well as contact partners and working groups were set.

During the second day the work was carried out to determine the strategic and operational challenges for the nearest 6 months (from December, 2013 to June, 2014).

In the three-year project the National Centre for Public Accreditation plays one of the key roles: NCPA leads workgroups 6 and 7 and leads the whole project from the Russian party.
