Meeting of the Expert Council of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education

On February 19, 2026, a meeting of the Expert Council on Higher Education Issues under the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education took place in Moscow.

Expert Council

The agenda of the Expert Council meeting included:

  • Preparing the education system for accreditation monitoring and discussing accreditation indicators;
  • Monitoring the implementation of Federal Law No. 114-FZ of May 23, 2025, “On Amendments to Articles 101 and 104 of the Federal Law “On Education in the Russian Federation” concerning state regulation of paid enrollment in higher education programs and state-funded admissions quotas.

Dr. Galina Motova, Director of the National Centre for Public Accreditation and President of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN), took part in the meeting.
