From May 21 to May 23, 2025, the programs delivered by Tomsk State University underwent international external review carried out jointly be NCPA and the Educational Quality Evaluation Agency (EQEA) of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
The External Review Panel comprised both international and Russian experts, as well as representatives from professional communities and the student body. Over the three-day review, the Panel held meetings with the university administration, heads of departments responsible for program implementation, faculty members, students, alumni, and employers.
Based on the findings of the external review, a report with areas for improvement of study programs is to be prepared. The decision on international accreditation of the educational programs will be made by the National Accreditation Board during one of its bi-annual meetings.
