From February 3 to 6, the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) Forum was held in Sun City, South Africa, entitled “Building trust in quality assurance systems across stakeholders.”

In support of this theme, on February 5, INQAAHE hosted its first roundtable for regional quality assurance networks to discuss how the international quality assurance community can collaborate to support the implementation of the UNESCO Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications and contribute to the development of a more integrated international higher education environment.

Dr. Galina Motova, Director of the National Centre for Public Accreditation, participated in the roundtable in the capacity of a President of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN). Participants discussed challenges and areas for developing cooperation between regional quality assurance networks, INQAAHE, and UNESCO.
