An external review of two educational programmes “Business administration” and “Financial Management” was held on December 12-14, 2016 in UIBE. Each Panel consisted of five Chinese and two Russian experts.
The procedure was jointly conducted by two accrediting agencies: National Centre for Public Accreditation and the Higher Education Evaluation Centre of the Ministry of Education (China).
The joint evaluation of the educational programmes of Chinese universities is a unique experience both for Russia and China. Such a procedure was held in two leading Russian universities.
The procedure of joint evaluation involved a lot of work in aligning standards and criteria. Representatives of two agencies coordinated the work of the External Review Panel.
The joint review promotes further development of the educational programmes and the educational institution as a whole. The programmes got an opportunity to evaluate the quality at a high international level and to obtain recommendations of high-qualified international experts. The most important thing is that the outcomes of such a review are confirmed by the certificates of joint accreditation issued by the agencies from the two countries.
