Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA)

Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA) is recognized by the decision of the Republican Accreditation Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is included in the National Register of Recognized Accrediting Agency (Register 1) by the Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science.


ECAQA is included in the Directory of Organizations that Recognize/Accredit Medical Schools (DORA) of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). The Centre is a full member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), member of the CHEA International Quality Group, affiliate member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), full member of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA), full member of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN).


ECAQA Mission


Ensure the introduction of international standards and principles of external quality assurance and enhancement of health professions education and evolve to meet the national health system needs and involvement of principal stakeholders in order to maintain public confidence.


ECAQA Objectives


Modernization of the quality assurance system in health professions education through the enhancement of internal and external quality assurance mechanisms at the institutional and national levels, increasing the competitiveness of health professionals and healthcare nationally and internationally.
