On December 3, 2018 a session of the Plenum of the Federal Academic Methodological Association on the interrelated specialty group 040000 Chemistry was held in Lomonosov Moscow State University. G. Motova, Deputy Director of NCPA, spoke on the topic «International accreditation as a mechanism of improving competitiveness, internationalization and export capacity of higher education institutions».

On November 12 the parliamentary hearings organized by the State Duma Committee for Education and Science were held in Moscow. The topic was «Legal Support for State Regulation of Educational Activities: Problems and Solutions».

On November 7, 2018 the XXV seminar-conference of Project 5-100 began its work. The focus of the conference was on higher education institutions participating in the project for support of Russian leading universities on improvement of their competitiveness at the global level. During the first day of the conference the following events were held: plenary session «Results and Development Perspectives of the Project 5-100», round table «Creation and Development of Universities’ Research Centres of Global Significance», session «Scientometric Indicators in Evaluation of Research and University Rankings», session «Quality Control of Education and Accreditation», as well as sessions and round tables related to the best practices of HEIs, PR and recruitment of foreign students.

On November 1, 2018 public hearings organized by the Commission for Development of Science and Education and the Eurasian Association for Educational Assessment (EAOKO) were held in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
