Educational programmes “History” of the Far-Eastern Federal University obtained international accreditation

The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan – HEEACT (Taipei, Taiwan) in the frameworks of international accreditation procedure conducted jointly with the National Centre for Public Accreditation made a positive accreditation decision and issued a certificate of international accreditation of the educational programmes “History” (Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes) of the Far-Eastern Federal University for the period of 6 years. On the Russian side the decision was made by the National Accreditation Board.

Plenary meeting of the Association of the Vice Rectors for International Relations of the Northwest Higher Educational Institutions took place at the Saint-Petersburg State Art and Industrial Academy named after A.L. Stieglitz celebrated its 140 anniversary on February 25, 2016.

 

Rotation of members of the National Accreditation Board

On January 21, 2016 the renewed National Accreditation Board started its work. According to the Regulations on the National Accreditation Board one-third of its members is renewed once in three years.

 

On December 1, 2015 the National Centre for Public Accreditation was officially registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR)

On December 1, 2015 the National Centre for Public Accreditation was officially registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). Russia is for the first time among countries which have an EQAR-registered QA agency.

 

External Review of SPbPU Programmes

External Review of the clusters of the educational programmes "Counstruction" (08.03.01), "Management" (38.04.02), "Metallurgy" (22.04.02) was held on October 20-22, 2015 in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (Russia).

The procedure was jointly conducted by two accrediting agencies: the National Centre for Public Accreditation (Russia) and the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (Germany).
