APQN Conference 2011

The APQN 2011 Conference was held in Bangalore, India from 2-4 March 2011 and was hosted by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The main theme of the Conference was “Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Expectations and Achievements”.

AERES Seminar

The training seminar "Internal and external quality assurance for institutional and programme accreditation in Higher Education and Technical and Vocational Higher Education" was held on 21- 24 June 2010, Paris.

The seminar was held at the Agence d’évaluation de la recherché et de l’enseignement supérieur(AERES), 20 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris (http://www.aeres-evaluation.fr/).

The Seventh ENQA General Assembly

The Seventh ENQA General Assembly took place in Helsinki, Finland on 23-24 September, 2010. It was hosted by the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC).

CEE Network General Assembly

The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEE Network) held its biennial General Assembly meeting on 28 and 29 May in Sofia, Bulgaria. Prior to GA session the CEE Network Steering Committee meeting took place at which new Steering Committee members and Chair were elected. Aurelija Valeikiene, Deputy Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (Lithuania) became the new Steering Committee Chair and President of the CEE Network.
