ENQA Webinar «Use of Indicators in Higher Education»

On October 23, 2020 a webinar «Use of Indicators in Higher Education» was held by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). About 50 participants from different countries took part in it.

The participants discussed issues concerning the use of indicators in higher education and, especially, in quality assurance. The European University Association (EUA) presented the results of the survey on how indicators are used in rankings, external quality assurance, and funding formulae. ENQA members also presented case examples of the use of indicators in their agencies and discussed opportunities and challenges in using indicators.

The presentations were made by Tia Loukkola, Director of Institutional Development at EUA, Helene Peterbauer, Policy and Project Officer at EUA, Steffen Westergård Andersen, Director of Operations at the Danish Accreditation Institution (AI), and Ailsa Crum, Director of Membership, Quality Enhancement & Standards at QAA (UK).

The National Centre for Public Accreditation was represented by Galina Motova, NCPA Deputy Director, Oksana Matveeva, Deputy Head of the Accreditation Office and Marina Kurdiumova, Manager of the International Relations Office.
