Session of the Plenum of the Federal Academic Methodological Association on the interrelated specialty group 040000 Chemistry

On December 3, 2018 a session of the Plenum of the Federal Academic Methodological Association on the interrelated specialty group 040000 Chemistry was held in Lomonosov Moscow State University. G. Motova, Deputy Director of NCPA, spoke on the topic «International accreditation as a mechanism of improving competitiveness, internationalization and export capacity of higher education institutions».

The following issues were considered at the meeting:
• Making internal and external independent systems of quality evaluation of students and graduates’ training.
• Interdisciplinary programmes of experts’ training to improve competitiveness of graduates of classical universities on the labour market.
• Cooperation of employers and the university’s community is a key to successful training and employment.

Representatives of leading Russian higher education institutions implementing the programme «Chemistry» participated at the meeting. Viktor Avdeev, Chair of the Federal Academic Methodological Association on the interrelated specialty group «Chemistry», Irina Uspenskaia, Deputy Chair of the Federal Academic Methodological Association on the interrelated specialty group «Chemistry», Vladimir Navodnov, NCPA Director, Maria Ivanova, Vice-President of the Russian Chemists Union, Director General of the «Russian Chemists Union», Deputy Chair of Chemical and Biotechnological Complex, Valerii Lunin, President of the Faculty of Chemistry of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Chair of the Educational Board in the fields of study under the numbers 04.03.01, 04.04.01 and 04.05.01, Stepan Kalmykov, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry of Lomonosov Moscow State University and others spoke at the meeting.
