On May 16 – 18, 2018 an international external review of the cluster of the educational programmes «General Medicine» (31.05.01), «Pediatrics» (31.05.02), «Dentistry» (31.05.03), «Clinical Medicine» (31.06.01), «Dental Orthopedics» (31.08.75), «Pediatric Surgery» (31.08.16), «Traumatology and Orthopedics» (31.08.66), further education programmes «Endodontics. Modern Approaches to Root Canal Treatment of Patients with Diseases of the Pulp and Periodontal Membrane. Use of Operative Microscope», «Palliative Care in Pediatrics» delivered by Ural State Medical University of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation was held.

The External Review Panel involved Russian and foreign experts, representatives of professional communities and students. During three days of work meetings with the University administration, Heads of subdivisions responsible for programmes implementation, teachers, students, doctoral students, graduates and employers were held.

Summary reports and recommendations on further development of the programmes based on the results of the external review will be prepared. Decision about public accreditation of the educational programmes will be made at the meeting of the National Accreditation Board.
