Vladimir Navodnov, Director of the National Centre for Public Accreditation, took part in the contest committee organized by the Free Economic Society of Russia on June, 3 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

The Free Economic Society of Russia and the National Centre for Public Accreditation signed the cooperation agreement for the purpose of mutual cooperation in the field of improvement of higher education quality and development of the bilateral relations in the sphere of analytical and expert activities.

The contest committee summed up the results of the nationwide competition “The Best Department of Economics – 2013”. 30 winners from 21 regions of the Russian Federation were defined in 11 nominations. The contest gave an option of identifying problems and development prospects of the work of economics departments and staff training quality improvement in compliance with the requirements of Russian economics and international standards.

According to the signed agreement between the Free Economic Society and the National Centre for Public Accreditation and following the decision of the jury of the contest “The Best Department of Economics – 2012” 9 educational programmes in Economics and Management will be included to the reference-book “The Best Educational Programmes of Innovative Russia – 2013”.
