The joint seminar on quality assurance of Russian higher education was held in Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance (FINEC) on May, 28 2013. The event was organized by the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC).

The objective of the seminar was to familiarize with the accreditation activities conducted by the national agencies and the internal quality assurance of Russian universities.

Methods of evaluation, systems of external and internal quality assurance and role of students in national and institutional quality assurance were discussed within the seminar.

Galina Motova, Deputy Director of the National Centre for Public Accreditation, took part in the seminar and presented the key report “The Russian system of higher education and quality assurance”.
