Third ENQA Forum

The third ENQA Members Forum took place on 25-26 April 2013 in Pragu, Czeck Republic. The event was hosted by the Accreditation Commission of Czeck Republic (Akkreditacni Komise Česka Republika - AKČR). 75 delegates represented 47 quality assurance bodies from 28 European countries. This was the most representative Forum, which once again manifested a great interest of ENQA’s members and partners in the activities of the Association and their readiness to contribute to the development of quality assurance in the European education area.

The Members' Forum 2013 provided a platform for discussion on the following topical issues: excellence in higher education, impact of quality assurance, quality assurance of life long learning, stakeholder involvement, and staff development in the quality assurance agency.

The priority of these issues was determined by the latest quality assurance developments, and in particular, by the new goals and objectives set at the ministerial meeting of the Bologna countries in Bucharest in April 2012.

During the two days of Prague Forum 2013 the participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the present state of quality assurance in the European higher education area, exchange good practices and outline development prospects.

The next meeting of ENQA Members will take place at the General Assembly in Vilnius in October 2013.

NCPA was represented by the Head of International Relations Office V. Chepurnykh.
