Final Conference ALIGN TEMPUS 2017, Yerevan

The final conference of the project AlignTempus «Achieving and Checking the Alignment between Academic Programmes and Qualification Frameworks» was held in Yerevan Brusov State University on 9-10 October 2017.

More than 100 representatives from 8 countries-participants of the project took part in the conference: Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, and Poland.

The official opening began with a welcome speech by Karine Harutyunyan, Rector of Yerevan Brusov State University, and project coordinators – Susanna Karakhanyan, President of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), and Louisa Militosyan, representative of Yerevan Brusov State University.

The results of the project and external reviews of the educational programmes developed in accordance with European and National Qualification Frameworks were analyzed at the Conference.

The participants discussed issues related to the outcomes of the ALIGN project: sustainable development of the project  ALIGN TEMPUS in the future, coordination of learning outcomes in higher education institutions of the participating countries and their influence on universities development in the context of internationalization.

O.A. Matveeva, Deputy Head of the Accreditation Office, and E.G. Savinykh, Head of the Educational and Consulting Office spoke on behalf of the National Centre for Public Accreditation.

Due to participation in the project and cooperation with partner higher education institutions, the National Centre for Public Accreditation has become one of the platforms for disseminating the best practices of the project ALIGN TEMPUS in Russia.
